The time has come for awards nominations. The association has added three new awards. We are soliciting recommendations from our members for the following awards. The deadline for submissions is June 3, 2010.

The REALTOR® of the Year is the highest and most coveted award that can be bestowed by one’s peers. This award is based on the outstanding contributions of a REALTOR® to the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, the Illinois Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. The recipient must demonstrate what is called “REALTOR® Spirit”, which is embodied by faithfulness to the principles of the REALTOR® organization, professionalism and the Code of Ethics.
Criteria:
A minimum of 10 years as a REALTOR® with current, active leadership involvement at the local, state and national level.
Recognized as an industry leader whose performance is exemplary.
Holds a current, active real estate license and is in good standing with IDFPR.
This award is based on the outstanding contributions of a REALTOR® to the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and to the Chicagoland real estate industry.***
Criteria:
A minimum of 10 years as a REALTOR® with current, active leadership involvement at the local, state and national level.
Demonstrates positive leadership impacting the local association.
Holds a current, active real estate license and is in good standing with IDFPR.
This award is based on the outstanding contributions of a REALTOR® to his/her local community, as well as being an active member of the local association. ***
Criteria:
A minimum of 3 years as a REALTOR with current, active leadership involvement at the local, state and national level.
Recognized leader in some endeavor in the community.
Holds a current, active real estate license and is in good standing with IDFPR.
This award is based on the outstanding contributions of an Affiliate Member to the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and to the Chicagoland real estate industry. ***
Criteria:
A minimum of 3 years as a member of the association in good standing.
Recognized as an industry leader.
Recognized for ongoing, outstanding support of the Real Estate community.
