Become a Trustee
Joining the C.A.R. Education Foundation Board of Trustees is rewarding – to yourself and others. As a Trustee, you help shape decisions about how CAREF scholarship funds are invested to enhance the field of real estate. You evaluate individuals who receive scholarships to begin or advance their careers. Or, you may opt to follow the course of 2009 Trustees who felt the most significant way they could help REALTORS® thrive was by underwriting 12 hours of free CE courses.
In addition to helping shape the future of the industry, CAREF Trustees help identify industry leaders who are inducted into the C.A.R. Hall of Fame.
Trustees are expected to attend approximately six bi-monthly meetings a year and commit to financial and fundraising responsibilities. They are publically recognized for their contributions.
