September 12th was the premier night for real estate in Chicago, as the Chicago Association of REALTORS® proudly presented its 135th Annual Inaugural Gala. Complemented by dancing, live music, and lots of laughs, the event included the installation of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® 2018-2019 Board of Directors, and honored several individuals for their contributions and positive influence, including the recipient of the Affiliate of the Year Award.
The Affiliate of the Year Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of a Chicago Association of REALTORS® Affiliate Member to the Chicagoland real estate industry, with a demonstrated and ongoing leadership of at least three years.

AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR: SARA O’CONNOR
Over her 18-plus years in real estate, Sara O’Connor has taken steps to build incredible success in both residential and commercial business development. She has facilitated the closing of numerous projects, earning recognition as a Million Dollar Club Member for Greater Illinois Title Company. She is also a member of multiple industry trade associations and has served on many industry committees for Women’s Council of REALTORS® Chicago, the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association, the Dearborn Realtist® Board, Real Estate Investors Association and the Real Estate Finance Forum. This past spring, Sara chaired the 2017 Sales Awards Advisory Board. We thank her for her dedication to our industry and diligence in leadership.
