September 12th was the premier night for real estate in Chicago, as the Chicago Association of REALTORS® proudly presented its 135th Annual Inaugural Gala. Complemented by dancing, live music, and lots of laughs, the event included the installation of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® 2018-2019 Board of Directors, and honored several individuals for their contributions and positive influence, including the recipient of the REALTOR® Achievement Award.
The REALTOR® Achievement Award recognizes a REALTOR® in good standing with at least five years in the field, who demonstrates positive leadership within his or her local association and is active at the local, state and national levels.
Born into a family of developers from Milwaukee, Erin Mandel has grown up in the business and has made her mark in Chicago. She joined @properties in 2010 after six successful years with The Belgravia Group. As business continues to become less reliant on face-to-face interaction, Erin remains committed to the value of relationships and service to her to community. In addition to her multi-year service on the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, she takes an active role in the National Association of REALTORS® and Illinois REALTORS®, as well as the Womens Council of REALTORS® Chicago. She chaired CAR’s YPN Advisory Board in 2012-2013 and was a 2013 Trustee for the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Foundation. In 2012, WCR awarded her Entrepreneur of the Year. She is a Crystal “R” RPAC Investor. Her commitment to the REALTOR® organization at all levels is admirable, and appreciated.
