The Women’s Council of REALTORS® Chicago Future Leaders Scholarship is designed to support and empower emerging women leaders within the organization who are passionate about advancing their careers and taking on leadership roles within the real estate industry. This scholarship provides an exciting opportunity for Chicago network members to attend the prestigious National Women’s Council of REALTORS® Midyear Meetings in Washington, D.C., or the National Annual Meetings, where they can gain valuable insights, network with industry professionals, and enhance their leadership skills. By participating in these national events, recipients will gain a deeper understanding of the real estate landscape, develop critical advocacy and leadership skills, and build lasting connections with peers and mentors. This scholarship aims to foster the next generation of women leaders within the Women’s Council and inspire members to pursue leadership positions at the local level, ultimately strengthening the organization’s influence and impact within the real estate community.
four total reimbursement scholarships will be awarded per fiscal year:
- Two $500 scholarships for travel to Washington D.C. for Midyear Conference
- Two $500 scholarships for travel to National Conference
Scholarship Criteria:
- Must be a member of the Women’s Council Of REALTORS® Chicago
- Must be a licensed REALTOR® in the state of Illinois in good standing
- Good standing REALTOR® membership with their local association (not Chicago Association Of REALTORS®-specific)
- To receive full reimbursement, applicants must submit a testimonial detailing their conference experience (after attending) and its impact on their real estate career.
Please note, the quarterly deadlines to apply for the fiscal year are:
- WINTER: November 1st
- SPRING: April 1st
- SUMMER: June 1st
- FALL: August 1st
