Under the sparkling lights of the Radisson Blu banquet hall on Wednesday night, the real estate community gathered to honor exceptional members of the Chicago REALTOR® family at the 133rd annual Inaugural Gala. The event included the installation of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® 2016-2017 Board of Directors, and honored several individuals for their contributions and positive influence, among which was the recipient of the Affiliate of the Year award.
The Affiliate of the Year Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of a Chicago Association of REALTORS® Affiliate Member to the Chicagoland real estate industry, with a demonstrated and ongoing leadership of at least three years.
With over 20 years’ experience in residential real estate finance, Coby Hakalir is a highly active member of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® community and a leading professional from Inland Home Mortgage. He sits on the C.A.R. Board of Directors, is former Chairman and a current Trustee of the Foundation, and a strong supporter of the C.A.R. mission of enhancing business success, serving clients, and engaging on a local level. Coby is a Delegate for the 2016 Illinois Republican Convention and volunteers for the American Red Cross and the Bronzeville Neighborhood Coalition. He is a long-time mentor and past Director of the Young Professionals of Chicago, serving the greater Chicago community.
