Congratulations to our own Ginger Downs, RCE, CAE, CIPS, IOM, the 2017 National Association of REALTORS® William R. Magel Award of Excellence winner.
The Magel Award is presented annually to an individual who has truly excelled in his or her role as an association executive of a REALTOR® association. It is the highest distinction for a REALTOR® AE. Ginger was announced as the recipient at the annual Midyear Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo last week in Washington, D.C.
C.A.R. welcomed Ginger as CEO in 2005; she previously worked as an Association Executive in the Seattle region. In addition to her mentorship and leadership in the industry, she has been incredibly active in the Chicago community, serving as president of All Chicago and working with the Goldie Initiative, as well as serving on the John Marshall Law School Real Estate Advisory Board, Roosevelt University’s Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate Advisory Board, DePaul University Real Estate Advisory Board, and the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is a Golden R RPAC Investor.
Ginger will receive the award at the REALTORS® Conference and Expo here in Chicago this November. Congratulations, Ginger, on this great accomplishment!
