Travel to C.A.R. Central Office may be affected by downtown road closures for the Lollapalooza Music Festival. A complete list of daily road closures is available here.
Lollapalooza begins Thursday, August 3, and ends Sunday, August 6. Preparation for the event will result in road closures continuing throughout the festival.
The music festival brings large crowds daily to Grant Park in Chicago. Festival hours are from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day.
Please allow for extra time to travel to the C.A.R. Central Office as there is an extra 200,000 people downtown. The CTA will be running additional service in our area. We highly recommend you map your route ahead of time and allow for extra travel time. Thanks for your understanding!
