We have recently learned that Ghana’s parliament passed legislation that prosecutes and criminalizes members of the LGBTQIA community. This legislation gravely impacts the safety of our members, staff and the communities we serve. Additionally, the discriminatory nature of this legislation is inconsistent with the values clearly outlined in our strategic plan: to grow Chicago REALTORS®’ influence as a leading voice in real estate on diversity, equity and inclusion, and fostering a sense of belonging for all members.
