About This Branding Guide
This brand guide serves as a blueprint for maintaining a consistent, professional and recognizable identity across all communications. By following these guidelines, we ensure clarity, credibility and a lasting impact in the real estate industry.
Logo Treatment
The Chicago Association of REALTORS® logo must be used as is and cannot be altered in any way. This means that you must not:
- Change the logo’s orientation or rotation.
- Disproportionately scale or resize the logo.
- Change the logo’s colors.
- Display the logo with color combinations not previously specified.
- Display the logo in a configuration not previously specified.
- Attempt to recreate the logo.
- Make alterations to the logo’s text.
- Add special effects to the logo.
- Add an outline to the logo or display the logo as an outline.
- Use the logo on top of a busy photo.
- Display other elements within the logo’s designated clear space.
- Crop the logo in any way.
If you have a special request or situation, please work with the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Editorial team to help you achieve the best use of the logo for your project/situation. All exceptions must be approved before use.
Logo Clear Space
CLEAR SPACE
For all versions of the logo, the minimum clear space should be equal to 1/4 the height of the mark. This spacing is needed to protect the integrity of the logo. Do not place other logos closer than the outer dashed line.
MINIMUM SIZE REQUIREMENTS
In printed materials, the minimum size requirement is 0.75” high.
