Please take note. Anonymous packages are being delivered to the doorsteps of for-sale homes in Bloomington, IL and may stretch into the Chicagoland area. It has been brought to our attention that identity thieves are opening credit cards and ordering packages to properties on the market.
While the contents of these packages have been harmless, we still encourage agents not to open the packages and to report the incidents to the local police station. Over 20 reports have already been made. Additionally, we urge agents be aware of their surroundings at properties, as the individuals involved may show up to collect the deliveries.
