Past President Matt Silver Named Illinois REALTORS® 2022 Treasurer-Elect
Past President Matt Silver of Corcoran Urban Real Estate has been named the 2022 Treasurer-Elect of Illinois REALTORS®. Silver was named our 2018 REALTOR® of the Year and received the REALTOR® Achievement Award in 2013. He is also the Federal Political Coordinator for District 10, working with Rep. Brad Schneider.
An Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors vote will be placed to confirm his nomination later this year. He will join other Illinois REALTOR® leaders in 2022, including CAR past president Zeke Morris, who will become president; Michael Gobber, who will become president-elect and Sue Miller, who will become immediate past president.
Congratulations to Those Who Made Chicago Magazine’s The New Power 30 List
Past President Zeke Morris, EXIT Strategy Realty, Treasurer Sarah Ware, Ware Realty Group, and Dearborn REALTIST® Board President Courtney Jones, Chicago Homes Realty Group, were featured on Chicago Magazine’s The New Power 30 list.
They were honored for their efforts to stop hate speech, which led to NAR’s Code of Ethics changes at the end of last year, making the use of harassing or hate speech toward any of the protected classes a violation of the Code of Ethics. Congratulations on your success!
