What is the SUN Initiative?

The SUN Initiative at Boston Community Capital is a 30 year old non-profit CDFI with the mission of helping low income communities. In 2009, they launched a program called the SUN initiative, a non-profit foreclosure prevention program that allows families facing foreclosure and short sales to stay in their home. They operate in MA, RI, CT, NJ, PA, MD and IL. To date they have stabilized and allowed over 1,000 families to stay in their homes. Learn more about the SUN Initiative!

About the Seminar

If a you are listing a short sale for a client who would like to stay in their home and has income to afford a new 30 year fixed rate mortgage at a lower amount than their current mortgage, you can refer your client to the SUN initiative.

Learn more about how this Buy-Back program allows you to make the same commission as you would listing the property with the added benefit of keeping the borrower in their home.
