Just like many of you, we’re focusing on business planning for both the year ahead and the years to come. This year, we’re proud to unveil our new strategic plan for 2023 to 2025.
This strategic plan, developed by volunteer leaders and staff and approved by our Board of Directors, will be our roadmap for the coming years as we continue to provide value to you and, ultimately, help enhance your businesses. It will also allow us to keep focused on our association’s goals. On the following page, you can find the updated strategic plan as a whole, but there are a few things I would like to highlight. Along with having an objective focused on diversity, equity and inclusion, each strategic objective includes a DEI-focused component. This was done intentionally to ensure we are moving
forward with DEI in mind in every aspect of our association.
We are also excited to put our focus on areas we think are important to help you thrive, like positioning REALTORS® as trusted advisors, proactively advocating for important issues and implementing a comprehensive data strategy to make us a more data-driven culture.
During this process, we’ve also revised our mission and vision statements:
- Mission Statement: The Chicago REALTORS® unites all facets of the industry as a leading advocate for real estate, drives REALTOR® business success and supports the economic development of our diverse communities.
- Vision: All REALTORS® and their communities across Chicagoland are vibrant and thriving.
Our Foundation, the philanthropic arm of our association, also updated its statements. Now, the association and the Foundation share a vision statement, so we can ensure we are both moving towards a unified goal.
I’d like to thank our volunteer leaders, whose input and insights helped us determine the direction of our association and form this strategic plan. We look forward to engaging with all of you to ensure REALTORS® and our communities across Chicagoland are vibrant and thriving.
