CAR_Foundation_colorThroughout the year, the Foundation has been actively engaged in assisting REALTORS® and their families in meeting their real estate educational goals through scholarships, as well as helping to build a stronger Chicago through our work with various nonprofit organizations.

Here’s a look at what we’ve accomplished this year:

Charitable contributions

$70,500 in charitable contributions to:

Scholarships

34 individual scholarships, totaling over $17,000

  • 4 Zeke Morris scholarships, totaling $2,000 (provided through Ada S. McKinley Community Services)
  • 2 Veteran’s Pre-Licensing Scholarships, with more pending

$22,500 Institutional scholarships to:

  • REEF – Jim Kinney Scholarship
  • REALTOR® University
  • Goldie B. Wolfe Miller Women Leaders in Real Estate Initiative
  • 100 Club of Chicago
  • DePaul University
  • Roosevelt University
  • Real Estate Associate Program (R.E.A.P)

Partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs

  • Donated $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago and Union League Boys & Girls Club
  • Organized a highly successful Volunteer Day on August 5th, in partnership with NAR, to throw a carnival and distribute over 250 backpacks with school supplies to the children.

$12,335 Raised for a Good Cause at 133rd Annual Inaugural Gala

Thanks to your generosity at the 133rd Annual Inaugural Gala, we raised $12,335 for the C.A.R. Foundation, All Chicago and the Boys and Girls Clubs!
