The City of Chicago is conducting an Analysis of Impediments of Fair Housing Choice (AI) as part of its 2015-2019 Consolidated Planning process. The AI is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and includes a review of local public and private policies and practices that affect the rights of housing choice. The AI provides important information to local policy makers, housing providers, fair housing advocates, and lenders in promoting fair housing efforts.
Real estate practitioners are encouraged to take this Fair Housing Survey to provide their perception of fair housing in their communities.
