Africa is a place full of rich natural resources, such as gold, diamonds and oil. There are several economic and affordable opportunities within this beautiful continent, as infrastructure is steadily emerging and land is plentiful.
As the continent looks to economic expansion and social change, investors are looking to international and local practitioners to grow African real estate.
A group of REALTORS® based in the United States have been working with local government officials and NAR to develop strategies on how to bring more international business to Africa.
Currently, there are plenty of incentives to owning real estate in Africa, including affordable land, access to natural resources, exploration of its rich culture, low cost of labor, and climate and investment incentives issued by the government.
Part of the process is going out and working one country at a time. Nigeria (the most populous country in Africa) and Gambia are the next set of countries getting ready to globalize their real estate practice.
The time is certainly now to start investing in Africa.
