RFPs are now being accepted for the sale of our west office, located at 6017 W. 26th St. in the Cicero neighborhood.
We obtained the West office’s building during our merger with the West Towns Board of REALTORS® in 2011. Since then, it’s been used for classes, dues payments and lockbox distribution for Chicago REALTORS® on the west side. After looking at current member needs and geographic distribution, a work group of Chicago Association of REALTORS® members were tasked to determine the best use of the location, and ultimately decided the best course of action would be to sell the property, which our Board of Directors approved.
We are currently accepting applications from current Chicago Association of REALTOR® members or CommercialForum subscribers who are licensed and in good standing with the association and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Applications will be accepted until Thursday, August 11th. After the deadline, applications will then be evaluated by a work group made up of Chicago Association of REALTORS® members. All applicants will be notified of the outcome within three weeks of the August 11th deadline.
Following the sale of this office, we will be looking at other locations that will better fit Chicago REALTORS®’ needs.
