Video Tools to Use During Social Distancing

As the world grapples with the impact of COVID-19, REALTORS® across the country are asking themselves, “How can I conduct my business from my home?”  The key to these trying times is to do what we can to adapt to constantly changing “new normals.” There’s one thing REALTORS® throughout the nation are agreeing on: the importance of face-to-face interaction via video chat. There are many different video conferencing tools available to choose from, and finding the best fit for you can be overwhelming. Here are some options you can use to help conduct your business from home.

Zoom

Zoom is a popular video conferencing tool commonly used for webinars. Because of its popularity and versatility, Zoom has developed a guide to help you through its systems.

BombBomb

BombBomb is a video tool useful for including video in email messages. Some REALTORS® have seen success using video messaging in lieu of a phone call or regular email.

Camtasia

Camtasia is another video tool useful for screen grabbing. With Camtasia, you can record audio with your screen so you can walk through documents with your clients.

Netflix Party

Netflix Party is an extension for Google Chrome that allows you to watch Netflix with other people over video chat. It will stream a show or movie and open a group chat so you can talk about what you’re watching with other people in your party. These are just a few tools at your disposal to help you connect with your clients and run your business from home. If you’re worried about what to talk about, or what to do when you actually connect with your clients, read our tips on How to Connect with Clients During Social Distancing.
