Get Out And Vote: A Guide To the Primary Election

Your vote in the March 17th primary election can ensure that we support candidates who support homeownership and our industry. Your vote will help to advance public policies and candidates that build strong communities, protect property interests and promote a vibrant business environment. We have compiled everything you need to know to be prepared to get out and vote!

Once you’ve ensured you’re registered to vote and have a voting plan, you can use these resources to educate your clients on the importance of voting.

Register to Vote & Check Your Status

Registering to vote only takes two minutes! To register online to vote in the State of Illinois, you must submit your registration 16 days before the election. The online voter registration form can be completed here.

The State of Illinois also allows same-day, in-person registration during early voting and on Election Day. To do so, you will need to bring two forms of identification, and one must include your current address. You can do this at multiple locations, including:

Having a plan for election day is an essential part of ensuring your voice is heard in the democratic process.
