Sheldon F. Good is recognized for his commitment to the C.A.R. Education Foundation (CAREF) and to the development of real estate industry professionals worldwide. A past C.A.R. president, Mr. Good has raised more than $1 million throughout his 58-year career to support the advancement of Chicago REALTORS® and enhance real estate programs at universities throughout Chicago and the U.S.

Esteemed for his groundbreaking marketing techniques, Mr. Good founded one of the nation’s most prominent Chicago-based real estate companies. After leading Sheldon F. Good & Company for more than 35 years, he sold it to an employee group and later founded his current real estate consulting firm.

Mr. Good has generated more than $8 billion in real estate sales. Among notable leadership positions, he has served as World President of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), chaired its Chicago World Congress Committee and continues as FIABCI’s delegate to the United Nations. Mr. Good was also president of NAR’s Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM) and chairman of its Real Estate Auction Committee. Mr. Good was C.A.R. 1991 REALTOR® of the Year and in 2000 received the University of Illinois Alumni Achievement Award, the university’s most prestigious award.

Mr. Good is also recognized for his philanthropic contributions and has raised more than $30 million for key causes. For his work on behalf of the state of Israel, he received the Prime Minister’s Medal and the Crown of Good Name Award.
