YPN’s 2016 Fundraising

Over the course of the year, collections have been held at every Young Professionals Network event— mixers and breakfasts alike— to fund raise for the Union League Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago. AND… we come with good tidings! YPN donationWith the support of all who contributed, YPN raised $3,000 and donated over eight big boxes of school supplies in just a year. Several YPN members had the great pleasure of delivering the donations this week, and they were met with excitement and delight. Both the staffers and the kids were overjoyed at YPN’s gracious efforts. Congratulations again for everyone’s hard work and dedication to improving the Chicago community. For those who are unfamiliar, the Union League Boys and Girls Club works “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.” They served almost 13,000 at-risk youths in 2014 alone and are spread over seven locations in Chicago. You can learn more about the Union League Boys and Girls Clubs on their website.
