The Matt Silver Advocacy Endeavor Scholarship provides CAR members the ability to see first-hand the lobbying efforts from State Legislative Contacts (SLC), Federal Political Coordinators (FPC), the Government Affairs Directors and REALTOR® members make on behalf of their fellow colleagues. Scholarship funds are awarded to multicultural REALTORS® who are interested in participating in CAR’s advocacy efforts and are first time attendees to the annual Illinois REALTORS® Lobby Day and NAR Legislative Meetings in Washington D.C.
Meet Past Recipients!
Scholarship awards are up to $500 per candidate for Illinois REALTORS® Lobby Day (April) and/or up to $2,000 for NAR Legislative Meetings (May). Candidates must select one event only and can only utilize this scholarship one time. Candidates will be reimbursed for travel expenses, conference registration and hotel accommodations.
