Daniel Levin, Chicago Association of REALTORS® 1997 Hall of Fame inductee, passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 94.
Levin was the founder and chairman of The Habitat Company, which was founded in 1971 and guided by Levin’s belief that housing is more than buildings—it is an investment in people and neighborhoods. His properties included Presidential Towers, South Commons, Columbus Plaza and ONE333, to name just a few.
Levin’s funeral arrangements remain private. In lieu of flowers, his family is asks for contributions to WFMT (Chicago’s classical music station) in his name.
