Years ago, I attended my first Inaugural Gala, and had my first exposure to this association, thanks to my friend, and past president, Zeke Morris. That event was the jumping off point for me, and I’ve been
involved with the association ever since.
At the time, I knew very little about the association or what it did for our members, our industry and our community. Even though I didn’t fully understand the scope of the association’s impact, it didn’t stop me from showing up, just as I was. And this year, I want all of you to join me, just as you are, to get involved with our association.
Utilize our member perks to strengthen yourself as a professional. Through REALTORS® Real Estate School, we have a variety of courses to help you start the year off strong, like the Short-Sales & Foreclosure Resource Certification, Pricing Strategy Advisor Certification or Essentials of Property Management.
Throughout the year, we also host close to 100 events, both virtual and in person, where you can network with your fellow Chicago REALTORS® and learn something new. From virtual events to breakfasts to awards shows, there is something for everyone– many of which are free for members to attend.
Take a look at all the ways you can get involved throughout the year. Keep up with our special interest groups by signing up for a newsletter or checking out their resources. If you’re interested and find a niche, we open applications for our committees in the spring, so you can join and help
direct the future of our association.
And not only do you get the resources from our association, but you can also take advantage of what Illinois REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS® have to offer, too.
All of these benefits will help you to become a stronger professional and be the best resource possible for your clients.
