The Chicago Association of REALTORS® proudly presented our 136th Annual Inaugural Gala on Thursday, September 26. During the festivities, we debuted our 2019-2020 Board of Directors and honored several members for their contributions throughout the year, including the recipient of the Managing Broker of the Year.
The Managing Broker of the Year Award (50+ licensees) recognizes a REALTOR® in good standing with at least five years of experience as a Managing Broker, with current active involvement at the local level, recognized business accomplishments and faithfulness to the principles of good real estate practices and the Code of Ethics among other brokers and the public.
Managing Broker of the Year (51+ Licensees): Rick Sobin, @properties
Rick Sobin has over 15 years of experience in real estate. Prior to this, he worked on high-profile and Academy Award-winning projects in the motion picture industry. He credits those experiences for sharpening his skills as a team leader and honing his ability to bring together diverse groups of people to produce outstanding results. As Managing Broker for @properties East Lincoln Park and @properties Gold Coast, Rick has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of his offices, growing the East Lincoln Park office from 40 brokers to nearly 300 in less than five years, and growing the Gold Coast office to 100 brokers in just one year. He enjoys helping brokers achieve their personal and professional goals, while fostering a true sense of community.
