Dr. Lawrence Yun, the chief economist and senior vice president of research for the National Association of REALTORS®, oversees research including NAR’s Existing Home Sales statistics, Affordability Index, and Home Buyers and Sellers Profile Report. Dr. Yun has participated on many economic forecasting panels, appears in high-profile financial news outlets and has testified before Congress.
Dr. Yun kicked off our Market Outlook event with a look into the U.S. economy and housing market as a whole, then narrowed his focus to the Chicago housing market, focusing on why the housing market is not growing when all signs in the economy are positive.
