REALTOR® Achievement Award: Mabél Guzmán, Coldwell Banker Realty

An industry and community leader, Mabél Guzmán has served as CAR’s 2011 president and as an Illinois REALTORS® director. In 2016 and 2019, she was appointed the National Association of REALTORS® Vice President of Association Affairs. Not only does she volunteer her time for our industry, she also speaks up for property rights, testifying in 2014 before the U.S. Senate Banking Subcommittee to offer alternative ways to make housing more affordable for all. Within her community, she logs countless hours volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, helping to complete 35 homes in Illinois and the Gulf Coast. She also dedicates time to serving with Hope’s Table, a homeless ministry with First United Methodist Church. Her efforts both in and out of the office have had a marked, positive impact on our communities.
