The Chicago Association of REALTORS® proudly presented our 138th Annual Inaugural Gala on Friday, September 24. During the festivities, we debuted our 2021-2022 Board of Directors and honored several members for their contributions throughout the year, including the recipient of the REALTOR® Community Service award.
The REALTOR® Community Service Award recognizes the outstanding achievements of a REALTOR® to their local community as well as active association participation.
REALTOR® Community Service Award: Eduardo Garcia, Realty of Chicago LLC
In 2012, Eduardo Garcia founded Realty of Chicago with a dream of growing the brokerage into a successful business, and he’s done just that. Today, Realty of Chicago is the city’s largest real estate company serving the Latin American community. As the company began to gain success, Eduardo realized he had a platform where he could make an impact on his community through philanthropy. To date, he has donated almost $200,000 to charity, provided school supplies to students, awarded numerous scholarships and so much more. Through his company, he gets to realize two of his biggest goals: making homeownership dreams come true and giving back to those less fortunate.
