The Chicago Association of REALTORS® proudly presented our 138th Annual Inaugural Gala on Friday, September 24. During the festivities, we debuted our 2021-2022 Board of Directors and honored several members for their contributions throughout the year, including the recipient of the REALTOR® Community Service award.
The REALTOR® Community Service Award recognizes the outstanding achievements of a REALTOR® to their local community as well as active association participation.
REALTOR® Community Service Award: Grace Kaage, COMPASS
Serving others is in Grace Kaage’s blood. She watched her father forge a successful career in real estate and followed in his footsteps, although over her 11-year career, she has created her own path, first as the 2019 chair of CAR’s Young Professionals Network and, now as a member of the Board of Directors. After her father passed away from prostate cancer following a 16-year battle, Grace and her siblings founded the Prostate Cancer League in his honor. Their goal? To help other families who have loved ones struggling with the disease. Until its retirement this year, the organization raised almost $85,000 to fund seed therapy research.
