Global Real Estate Council Donates to Illinois Medical District Guest House

Our Global Real Estate Council chose the Illinois Medical District (IMD) Guest House as their 2021 charity. On September 6, they donated approximately $1,650 in raised funds to the charity.

IMD Guest House provides comfortable, affordable, temporary lodging for patients and their families who must travel to Chicago for medical treatment. They are the only organization in the Chicago area that supports patients of any age, receiving any type of treatment. They also provide accommodations to veterans receiving treatment at the Road Home Program at Rush University Hospital.

In 2019 and 2020, IMD Guest House has supported native citizens from Canada, India, China, Dominican Republic, Israel, Mexico, Nigeria, Puerto Rico and Russia, as well as US citizens. Since its inception, IMD Guest House has supported citizens from over 20 countries.

“As the Chair of the CAR Global Council, it is my responsibility to highlight both our inbound and outbound real estate investment opportunities and help organizations with a global focus. IMD Guest House supports visitors from all around the world who come to Chicago to seek the unique healthcare only offered in Chicago. I am glad we were able to partner with this amazing organization,” said Mikus Kins, Be Commercial Realty.
