2023 Mayoral Run-Off: What to Know, How to Cast Your Vote & More!

On April 4, the run-off election for the Chicago mayor and 14 aldermanic races will take place. We’ve put together a guide for what you should know on the two mayoral candidates’ stances on REALTOR® issues. Also, learn how to cast your vote early or on the day of the election. Check it out below.

Alderperson Candidates

These are the candidates we are supporting in the Chicago Municipal Run-Off Election.

  • Ward 4: State Representative Lamont Robinson
  • Ward 5: Tina Hone, who served as CEO of the YWCA Chicago
  • Ward 10: Chicago Police Officer and lifelong Southeast Side Resident Peter Chico
  • Ward 11: Former United Airlines Executive, incumbent Alderwoman Nicole Lee
  • Ward 24: Incumbent Alderwoman Monique Scott, former Chicago Park District Supervisor
  • Ward 29: Attorney, Marine and incumbent Alderman, Chris Taliaferro
  • Ward 36: Marine, Teamster and construction industry advocate, incumbent Alderman Gilbert Villegas
  • Ward 43: Attorney and former Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals, incumbent Timmy Knudsen
  • Ward 46: Walgreens representative and former Congressional staffer Kim Walz
  • Ward 48: Former UFCW grocery store worker and Affordable Housing Developer Joe Dunne

How to Cast Your Vote

Early voting is currently taking place in all 50 wards until Election Day, April 4. Polls are open:

  • Weekdays from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sundays from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Election Day (April 4) from 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Please note any voter in Chicago can vote at any early voting or Election Day voting site, no matter where they live in the city. For a full list of voting locations, click here.
