Summer 2025: From the CEO

The Chicago Association of REALTORS® is more than just a network of real estate professionals—we’re a community of passionate, driven people who choose to make a difference.

Take Millie Rosenbloom, for example. She’s a Past President who just earned the distinguished REALTOR® Emeritus status—a significant milestone that few achieve. Beyond that, Millie is a fierce advocate for the REALTOR® Political Action Committee (RPAC), contributing an impressive $10,000 and reaching RPAC Platinum R status. Millie leads by example, investing her time, talent and resources to protect and advance the real estate profession. She’s not just a leader—she’s a role model, proving that success in our field can go hand-in-hand with service to our profession.

Then there’s Frank Williams, another Past President and only the second member to receive our prestigious Titan Award, recognizing extraordinary commitment to fair housing and social justice. Frank’s unwavering dedication to these causes has left an indelible mark on our community. Despite personal losses and challenges, he continues to show up, embodying the spirit of perseverance and purpose that defines our association.

We also pause to honor those we have lost. Catherine Holbrook-Healy, an avid volunteer, left us far too soon. Known for her contagious smile and unwavering support of her peers, Catherine’s passion for real estate and commitment to her colleagues brought light to every room she entered. She was a vibrant force within our association, particularly known for her love of the Sales Awards and the YPN Kickball Tournament. Her passing leaves a void, but her spirit remains a lasting inspiration to all who knew her.

These leaders are shining examples of the incredible dedication and commitment that so many of our members bring to this association. They stand as a reminder that the strength of our association lies in the passion, resilience and generosity of our members. It’s the collective spirit of giving back, of stepping up when it matters most, that makes our association a truly special place.

If you’re feeling inspired, I encourage you to get involved. Join a committee, volunteer at one of our events or share your voice in our advocacy work. Whether it’s through RPAC, YPN or our fair housing initiatives, there are countless ways to make an impact. I promise you—it’s worth it. This community is unlike any other, and the connections you’ll make will last a lifetime.

Thank you for all you do. It’s an honor to work alongside each of you as we build a stronger, more vibrant real estate community together.
