#ThatsWhoWeR: Chicago REALTORS® Show Their Advocacy
Getting in front of legislators and standing up for the real estate industry is in the fabric of our Association. We’re so proud of the REALTORS® who have answered the call so far. This past May, the Chicago Association of REALTORS® board attended the 2019 Mayoral Inauguration to welcome Chicago’s new leadership and show our commitment to working with them to protect private property rights. “Being in the room during such a historic event was inspiring,” Nykea Pippion McGriff, Dream Town Realty broker and Chicago Association of REALTORS® treasurer, said. “The energy and conversations were filled with a sense of hope for a better future for the city of Chicago.”
REALTORS® Giving Back
In June, the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Foundation hosted a Blood Drive at the CAR Central and West Towns offices, in support of the American Red Cross. Thank you to those who donated blood — your gift truly saves lives!
Chicago REALTOR® Gains CIPS Designation in Thailand
Christopher Edwards, Redfin, achieved his Certified International Property Specialist designation in Thailand in July. The class overlapped with our recent trade mission, further enhancing his educational experience! Congratulations Christopher!
