The licenses for the following professions are due for renewal by
October 31, 2018:
- Real Estate Branch Office
- Real Estate Broker Corporation
- Real Estate Broker Partnership
- Real Estate Limited Liability Firm
Chicago REALTORS
® with licenses for any of the aforementioned professions are asked to complete the online renewal process with the
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) as soon as possible.
A waived fee for branch licensees:
Illinois REALTORS® noted that those holding a branch license are asked to renew, but will not be charged. In 2019, the license will not be required. However, IDFPR will use the renewals to compile an updated “a list of office locations for the sponsoring brokerage companies when the branch license goes away. The online renewal will function much the same way as it does for other professions except the fee will show as $0.00 and the licensee will be able to click through to process the renewal.”
