Chicago Association of REALTORS® Welcomes Kandyce St. Clair as Vice President of External Affairs

The Chicago Association of REALTORS® is excited to announce the hiring of Kandyce St. Clair to fill the position of our Vice President of External Affairs, a role that has been vacant since October. St. Clair began her role on March 31, 2023.

The vice president of external affairs role has the responsibility of ensuring the strategic direction and execution of the external affairs department, including the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Foundation, The 77 diversity committee, Global Real Estate Council and community partnerships.

“I am thrilled to bring my passion for relationship building to the Chicago Association of REALTORS® in order to best serve our members,” St. Clair said. “I’m looking forward to cultivating intentional and meaningful industry partnerships throughout Chicagoland, while also creating a greater awareness of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Education Foundation.”

St. Clair comes to the Chicago Association of REALTORS® after spending many years in education. Most recently, St. Clair held the role of Program Director and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator for Near North Montessori. This role gave her the opportunity to enhance the school’s programs and help to develop new ones, create equitable policies and procedures for the school and its students and work as a liaison for different educational community groups.

St. Clair holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis. She is the chair of the Chicago Black Alumni Council for Washington University in St. Louis and served as the Middle School Black Affinity Group Facilitator and Black, as well as the Indigenous and People of Color, Affinity Group Facilitator for Near North Montessori School.
