First Installment of 2021 Cook County Property Taxes Available Online

The first installment of Cook County’s 2021 property taxes are now available online for payment. The first installment of tax year 2020 is 55% of the previous year’s total tax and is due on March 2, 2021. Last week, the Cook County Board waived the late fee for this installment by two months until May 3, 2021. To download your tax bill or make a payment:

• Visit cookcountytreasurer.com.
• Select the blue box labeled “Pay Online for Free.”
• Enter your address or 14-digit Property Index Number (PIN).

If the first installment is not paid by May 3, 2021, a late charge of 1.5% will be charged each month the payment is late.
