REALTOR® Achievement 2017 Recipients

The real estate community gathered at the 134th Annual Inaugural Gala on Monday, October 9, for a beautiful evening at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel honoring members of the Chicago REALTOR® family. The event included the installation of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® 2017-2018 Board of Directors, and honored several individuals for their contributions and positive influence on the industry, among which were the recipients of the REALTOR® Achievement award.

REALTOR® ACHIEVEMENT: Rebecca Thomson

Rebecca Thomson has been heavily involved in local, state and national real estate councils, and has excelled in her role of Vice President of Agent Development at @properties. Rebecca is the 2017-2018 President of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, a well-deserved accomplishment after many years of involvement. She has been on the National Association of REALTORS® Executive Committee since 2015 and serves as the 2017 Meetings and Convention Committee Chair. A Past President of the Chicago Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS®, she was a 2015 and 2016 Women’s Council of REALTORS® Illinois Governor. Rebecca also serves on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors and Finance Committee. Her positive attitude and dedication to her work has landed her admiration from those throughout the country and in her Chicago community.

REALTOR® Achievement: Erika Villegas

Erika Villegas, ERA Mi Casa Real Estate, has established herself as a top residential REALTOR® in Chicago. She has been a Top Producer of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® since 2009, receiving Bronze Level recognition in 2016. In 2013, she was named one of the top 250 Latino Real Estate Agents by the National Association of Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). She’s served as past chair of the Advisory Board of our Young Professionals Network and served four years on the board of NAHREP’s Chicago Chapter. Erika’s positive impact in the real estate industry and the Latino community is respected and admired by those around her.
