The real estate community gathered at the 134th Annual Inaugural Gala on Monday, October 9, for a beautiful evening at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel honoring members of the Chicago REALTOR® family. The event included the installation of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® 2017-2018 Board of Directors, and honored several individuals for their contributions and positive influence on the industry, among which were the recipients of the REALTOR® Community Service award.
REALTOR® Community Service: Bari Levine
Bari Levine is a distinguished member of @properties who has made a great impact on the Chicagoland community through her involvement with @gives back, @properties’ non-profit foundation, serving as president since 2015 and contributing as a board member since its inception in 2009. Most recently, Bari initiated multiple fundraising events for organizations like The Noah’s Arc Foundation for at-risk youth in Chicago and raised over $150,000 for Keith Relief, a local organization that helps alleviate the financial burdens of Chicagoans suffering from medical crises. Bari’s commitment to positive change in the community and efforts to get her fellow REALTORS® involved has changed the lives of countless Chicagoans.

REALTOR® Community Service: Anthony Nowak
Anthony Nowak is a notable leader at Century 21 Hallmark and in the community of Berwyn. He is very involved, participating in and leading many volunteer programs to ensure their success. He has chaired or volunteered for a number of local organizations, including the Italian American Civic Organization, Berwyn Police Explorers, Youth Crossroads and a cancer awareness fundraiser called Flowers of Hope. He was recently appointed as the Berwyn Police and Fire Commissioner. He takes pride in delivering Thanksgiving dinner to local families and participating in Christmas with sailors on the local naval base. Anthony is dedicated to his REALTOR® community and the city of Berwyn, gaining the admiration of friends, family and community members.
