Showcase Your Young Artist’s Meaning of Home for Their Shot at a Scholarship! | Chicago Association of REALTORS®

June is Homeownership Month, and we all know the emotional value of a home, especially for families. The CAR Foundation wants to see how your family interprets the meaning of home, with a special award for the two selected winners!

We are currently accepting drawings or paintings from your 5th to 12th graders for our Family Art Contest. Their art submissions must express the importance of homeownership, show components of Fair Housing principles and showcase diversity in your neighborhood. Submissions must also be original works.

There are two categories of entries based on age level:

  • 5th through 8th graders | winner gets a $350 stiped towards a summer camp or education program
  • 9th to 12th graders | winner receives a $500 higher education scholarship

Winning submissions will be featured on the CAR website and social media platforms. They will also be displayed in the CAR offices.

Submissions are due Thursday, July 8. Click here to fill out the application and submit your artist’s work.
