Advocacy At Work: Your Concerns Shared with Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac

We heard your concerns about the recent Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending guidelines, and we asked you to share personal stories about how they impacted your transactions.

Past President Tommy Choi, Keller Williams ONEChicago, working with the National Association of REALTORS®, took your personal stories to a meeting with Fannie Mae leadership to discuss the unintended consequences of their guidelines, like misinformation regarding the lending form, confusion about hiring structural engineers and HOAs refusing to complete the form.

These consequences continue to evolve, and your stories can provide a personal voice and help shape the future decisions made by Fannie Mae. If you have a story to share, please submit it at ChicagoREALTOR.com/tellyourguidelinestory.

Foundation & The 77 Furnish Home with Humble Design

Humble Design transforms empty houses into warm, welcoming and uplifting homes for those exiting homelessness. They use donated household goods to transform the spaces.
