The Chicago Association of REALTORS® proudly presented our 136th Annual Inaugural Gala on Thursday, September 26. During the festivities, we debuted our 2019-2020 Board of Directors and honored several members for their contributions throughout the year, including the recipient of the REALTOR® Achievement Award.

The REALTOR® Achievement Award recognizes a REALTOR® in good standing with at least five years in the field, who demonstrates positive leadership within his or her local association and is active at the local, state and national levels.

REALTOR® Achievement: Chris Pezza, Miller Chicago Real Estate

Chris Pezza has built a successful real estate career out of being involved and giving back. He has served on the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors as well as the Property Management and Public Policy Committees. Chris is also a teacher for the REALTORS® Real Estate school, and he is frequently tapped to participate in speaking opportunities and panel discussions centered around real estate. This year, Chris created the Chris Pezza Property Management Scholarship, made available through the CAR Foundation, which provides financial assistance to qualifying pre-license students who are seeking to advance their careers through property management. Furthermore, Chris is an advocate for public policy that advances the real estate industry, and he has been especially vocal against rent control. Throughout all his activities within the real estate industry, Chris has two goals in mind: to help people and to make Chicago stronger.
