The Chicago Association of REALTORS® proudly presented our 138th Annual Inaugural Gala on Friday, September 24. During the festivities, we debuted our 2021-2022 Board of Directors and honored several members for their contributions throughout the year, including the recipient of the Industry Member Partner Award.
The Industry Partner Member Award recognizes the outstanding contributions of a Chicago Association of REALTORS® Industry Partner member and to the Chicagoland real estate industry.
Industry Partner Member: Vicky Silvano, Baird & Warner
Active in the real estate industry since 1990, Vicky Silvano is a longtime mentor, supporter and partner to her colleagues and clients. She is particularly passionate about serving the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community in Chicago and the United States. In 2016, she served as the president of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), where she led an initiative asking the US Census Bureau to include AAPI as a race category in the U.S. Census Bureau’s quarterly homeownership reports; this victory is one of her biggest accomplishments to date. Today, she continues to serve the AAPI community through her work through AREAA’s Chicago chapter.
