  • The Northern Illinois Real Estate Information Network (NIREIN)
  • The Chicago Association of REALTORS® Educational Foundation (CAREF)
  • The Chicago Association of REALTORS® Political Action Committee (CARPAC)

Definitions of each entity are noted within the audited financial statement notes. These statements and the related notes are prepared by Chicago Association of REALTORS® management and then audited by an independent certified public accounting firm. The firm of Crowe LLP audited the financials for the years shown below. The audits were performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) which require certified public accountants to plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance that the financials are free of material misstatement. For each of the years, the auditor’s opinions was that the consolidated statements presented fairly, in all material respects, the financial position and the changes in net assets and cash flows, all in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
