On Thursday, June 12, the Chicago Association of REALTORS® presented Frank J. Williams, FJ Williams Realty, with the second-ever Titan Award.
The Titan Award is reserved for REALTORS® who show an unwavering commitment to diversity and inclusion through staffing, client relations and support of fellow colleagues to ensure an equitable buying and selling process in Chicago’s real estate market and beyond.
Frank has had an immeasurable impact on the real estate industry through his advocacy at the local, state and national levels as well as through his mentorship of hundreds of industry leaders. He was honored with the Titan Award at the 2025 Chicago REALTORS® 360° Summit: Leading With Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
When presenting him with the award, Chicago Association of REALTORS® CEO Michelle Mills Clement thanked Frank for his steadfastness in the face of adversity. “For those of you who may not yet know Frank, he opened his real estate brokerage on the southwest side of Chicago in 1971 and was immediately met with resistance,” she said. “Protestors gathered outside of his brokerage, the windows of his office were shattered, and his family home was set on fire. Nevertheless, he remained determined to fight for equal access for all and has never wavered in his fight.”
Frank was inducted into the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Hall of Fame in 2017. He was also honored as one of NAR’s 2023 Fair Housing Champion Award winners; the Fair Housing Champion Award honors REALTORS® who have gone above and beyond to advance fair housing and expand homeownership in underserved communities.
Join us in congratulating Frank J. Williams for all of his work in encouraging a real estate market that serves all people!
