IDFPR Extends Broker Renewal Deadline to September 30, 2020

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) has extended renewal dates and continuing education (CE) deadlines until September 30, 2020. If you hold a broker license, you are now required to complete CE prior to the extended renewal date to successfully renew your license. In addition, any pre- or post-license or CE course that was required to be provided in a live classroom setting is now allowed to be provided by technological or on-line methods. The live requirement has been waived through July 31, 2020.

Additionally, IDFPR warns of possible delays in renewing your license due to many other industries with the same renewal deadline. Consider completing your CE and renewing your license as soon as possible to avoid delays. Our virtual classes will help you knock out your CE credits during any downtime you may have right now. NAHREP Chicago Honored as 2019 NAHREP Chapter of the Year

The National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) has honored the Chicago chapter as the 2019 Chapter of the Year. The chapter was involved in developing the National Advocacy Committee last year and was dedicated to sharing NAHREP’s mission of increasing sustainable Hispanic homeownership. “It fills my heart with joy, not because of the award, but because it’s evident that we continue to move our mission forward in increasing sustainable Hispanic homeownership,” Hipolito Garcia, NAHREP Chicago’s 2019 president, said. “The hard work, dedication and passion of the Board of Directors, Members, Committee members, Partners and Volunteers did not go unnoticed.” Congratulations, NAHREP Chicago!

CAR Wins First-Ever ASAE Gold Circle Award

The American Society of Association Executives™ (ASAE) honored us recently with our first-ever Gold Circle Award in the category of New Product/Service Launch for our January 2019 YPN Real Estate Boot Camp. The inaugural Boot Camp helped attendees build an in-depth business plan and effective budget for business and retirement with the help of industry Top Producers and subject-matter experts. The Boot Camp also answered questions about tax deductions and business structures. At the end of the day, attendees walked away with a detailed vision for their brands and actionable tools to build their network and connect with mentors. The event was so successful it was adopted as a REALTORS® Real Estate School class. This past January, YPN also hosted a special Real Estate Investing Boot Camp in conjunction with CommercialForum. The Gold Circle Award denotes excellence, innovation and achievement in association or nonprofit marketing, membership and communications programs. Thank you ASAE for this honor!
