Autumn 2021: Association News

Have an Appraisal Story? We Want to Hear It

We’re assessing whether biased appraisals are taking place in Chicago. We need your help.

  • Have you witnessed or experienced appraisal bias based on race, gender or geography?
  • Have you seen an appraisal be denied for being too high?
  • Have you had a home appraised more than once to get a more accurate valuation?

If so, we want you to hear your story. Collecting this information will help us determine the extent of the issue and how to move forward. Click here to submit your information today.

CEO Michelle Mills Clement Honored with Prestigious Key Award, “Changemaker” Recognition

CEO Michelle Mills Clement has been honored with two awards: the American Society of Association Executives’ (ASAE) Key Award, the highest honor for CEOs, and Roosevelt University’s 2021 Industry Changemaker Award.

The Key Award honors association CEOs who demonstrate exceptional qualities of leadership in their own association and display a deep commitment to voluntary membership organizations as a whole. Honorees are nominated by their peers, and the winner is determined by a panel of peer judges. She will be honored in Washington, D.C., at ASAE’s Summit Awards dinner in late September.

The 2021 Industry Changemaker Award honors those within the real estate industry who are vocal advocates for positive change. She will accept the award on stage during Roosevelt University’s 20th Annual Real Estate Gala in September.

Congratulations, Michelle!
