The Following Scholarships are available to assist REALTORS® and their families in meeting their real estate educational goals. These scholarship funds are intended to help qualified REALTORS® and students pursue an education, designation, or certification that will lead them into productive careers in the real estate industry. - SPRING: April 1st

Chris Pezza Property Management Scholarship
This scholarship provides reimbursement to an Illinois real estate pre-licensing student seeking a career in property management.
Designation & Certification Scholarship
Chicago Association of REALTORS® members can apply for up to $500 for any National Association of REALTORS®-recognized designation or certification program.
The Henly, Mosely & Mayer Association Leadership Advancement Scholarship
Initiated by 2018-2019 Chicago REALTORS® President Tommy Choi in honor of his three daughters, this scholarship will offer key educational and professional development opportunities to Chicago REALTORS® staff members.
Higher Education Scholarship
The Higher Education Scholarship is available to REALTORS® and CommercialForum subscribers or their immediate family members. Scholarship awards are based on the applicant’s indication of interest in pursuing a career in the real estate industry and letters of recommendation.
Marki Lemons Ryhal Education Advancement Scholarship
The Marki Lemons Ryhal Education Advancement Scholarship will support candidates that are seeking to obtain their real estate license OR attend a Historically Black College and University (HBCU).
Matt Silver Advocacy Endeavor Scholarship
The Matt Silver Advocacy Endeavor Scholarship provides CAR members the ability to see first-hand the lobbying efforts from State Legislative Contacts (SLC), Federal Political Coordinators (FPC), the Government Affairs Directors and REALTOR® members make on behalf of their fellow colleagues.
RRES Pre-Licensing “Roadmap to REALTOR®” Scholarship
The Chicago REALTORS® Foundation Pre-License Study Scholarship awards are based on the applicant’s indication of interest in pursuing a career in the real estate industry and letters of recommendation.
RRES Post-Licensing Scholarship
The REALTORS® Real Estate School Post-Licensing Scholarship is awarded to five RRES students per year and is applicable to any RRES post-licensing program.
Sarah L. Ware Empowerment Scholarship
The Sarah L. Ware Empowerment Scholarship centers minority-owned and woman-owned brokerage firms in the real estate industry and works to advance their involvement. This scholarship provides financial assistance for attending industry conferences, events and meetings or paying dues for membership in CAR’s Industry Partners.
Veterans Real Estate Scholarship
The REALTORS® Real Estate School Pre-License Scholarship for Veterans award is based on the applicant’s indication of interest in pursuing a career in the real estate industry.
Women’s Council of REALTORS® Chicago Future Leaders Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to support and empower emerging women leaders within the organization who are passionate about advancing their careers and taking on leadership roles within the real estate industry by providing an opportunity to attend the Midyear Meetings in Washington, D.C., or the National Annual Meetings.
Xavier O. Joy Higher Education Scholarship
The Xavier O. Joy fund provides for Illinois students wishing to pursue higher education at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. The recipient(s) will be a current young leader who seeks to make a difference in their community.
Young Professionals Network (YPN) Scholarship
The YPN Scholarship is based on the applicant’s indication of interest in pursuing a career in the real estate industry and letters of recommendation. All applicants must be a resident of the State of Illinois.
Zeke Morris Scholarship
This fund provides for pre-license study or for Chicago REALTORS® members completing post-license study at the REALTORS® Real Estate School. Scholarship funds are awarded to individuals who support stabilization and economic development efforts in the following Chicago neighborhoods: Auburn Gresham, Austin, Bronzeville, Englewood, Garfield Park, Humboldt Park, South Shore and Woodlawn.
