Brokers! Your license renewal deadline has been extended from April 30, 2020, to September 30, 2020, but that doesn’t mean you should wait until the end of the summer to complete your license renewal.
Whether you have a few hours left to complete or you simply need to fill out the renewal application, use these hours at home to finish your continuing education.
Take your CE now to avoid delays.
Of the professions currently in renewal, REALTORS® aren’t the only ones with a September 30 date! Pharmacists, surgical assistants, registered nurses and more must complete their continuing education in the coming months.
Our medical professionals are hard at work taking care of those affected by COVID-19 and other routine medical emergencies. The more license renewal applications IDFPR needs to process all at once, the greater the chances of delayed license renewal approval.
Prevent stress for you and everyone else. Renew Early.
Speaking of increased numbers of license renewal applications — almost 50,000 licensed real estate brokers must complete their continuing education this year. As of the beginning of April, IDFPR reported that 75% of licensed brokers had not yet renewed their licenses! Do yourself and our friends at IDFPR a favor by completing yours today.
Once real estate sales pick up, you may have less time to complete your CE. Do something your future self will thank you for!
Once you have finished your CE don’t forget to renew your license as early as possible. Illinois License Law imposes continuing education requirements on individuals holding real estate Broker, Managing Broker and Appraiser licenses. To renew your license, you must:
- Properly renew your license by your required renewal date
- Accurately complete the Renewal Application
- Mail the application with the appropriate fee to the Licensing Agency
- Or, renew online!
These topics will help your business! Seriously!
At CAR’s REALTORS® Real Estate School, we believe in supporting your business with top-notch education. Our continuing education classes are designed and taught by subject-matter-experts with Chicago real estate professionals in mind.
Choose between online and webinar courses to complete the final hours of your license renewal, and rest easy until 2022. Our webinar experience includes a full-time, live instructor, group discussions and an easy-to-navigate webinar streaming interface.
